Stüssy Has a Nike Air Force 1 Mid Collaboration Dropping in 2022
The streetwear label adds branding atop the toe boxes, straps and tongues.
The collaborative efforts between Stüssy and Nike have been more prolific in recent years, especially on the footwear side as the two parties have launched various colorways of the Air Zoom Spiridon 2 and Air Zoom Spiridon Kukini, as well as brought back its popular Air Huarache iterations. And with 2022 on the horizon, it seems as though we can expect even more joint projects from the two parties as this black and white Stüssy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid collaboration has just surfaced. This marks the first time that the iconic streetwear label has ever lent its creative touch to this Swoosh model.
This forthcoming installment leans on a yin and yang-esque arrangement for styling. Uppers — which are constructed with a tumbled leather build — are presented with solid black overlays and Swooshes while the toe boxes, quarters and collars contrast with white. Stüssy branding lands on the toe boxes in perforated form, on the straps via an embroidered hit, on the tongues in its traditional print and on the heels as a double “S” pendant.
Early reports have these scheduled to drop sometime in 2022, but Nike and Stüssy have not yet confirmed an exact release date.
