Nike's Upcoming React Atlas Model Boasts a Futuristic Look and Feel
Intricate mesh uppers are complemented by striking midsole molds.
2021 was a year Nike as it brought blockbuster collaborations, a plethora of Dunk colorways and several new models to the market. And in 2022, the Swoosh team is looking to go even harder with its footwear output, and one product that will be making its debut to the sneaker space is this Nike React Atlas that has just been unveiled by way of official imagery.
This impending silhouette by the Nike Sportswear team is futuristic in every sense of the word. Uppers of this specific colorway are drenched in a matte black hue and come designed with intricate debossing across the base as well as oversized Swooshes that kick off at the lateral forefoot and end closer to the collars. Suede overlays are attached to the lateral and medial heels and come poked out with a hole and the rear end is supported by an aquatic blue plastic clip. Just above the midsoles, you’ll find bulbous, alien-like molds that affix to the mid-foot, toe tips and heels for added dimension. Bottom units are loaded up with React cushioning for premium comfort and come chiseled with a contemporary aesthetic on the exterior.
There’s no word just yet as to when these will be for sale, but it’s likely that Nike will be dropping these in the coming months
