Latest LEGO Ideas Channels the 1975 Film 'JAWS' in New Set
“You’re gonna need (to build) a bigger boat!”
The latest LEGO Ideas to reach the 10K club is by Diving Faces.
This set is a LEGO recreation of the 1975 film JAWS. Directed by Steven Spielberg — the film was based on the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley — JAWS featured characters Martin Brody, Matt Hooper, Quint, and the antagonist Bruce, the man-eating great white shark.
On top of the included mini-figures of the characters and the gigantic LEGO shark, the main component to this set is the accurately detailed “ORCA” boat. The creator of this Idea comments, “I spent quite a long time perfecting my build to ensure I could capture every single detail at mini-figure scale. Although I could probably quote most of JAWS, I re-watched it several times over to ensure I could capture every detail as accurately as possible.”
