Kanye, Drake, A$AP Rocky, Kid Cudi and More Attend Virgil Abloh's Funeral in Chicago
Paying respects to the creative icon.

Earlier this week (December 7), a private funeral for Virgil Abloh was held at the Museum Of Contemporary Art in his hometown of Chicago. The send-off for the creative icon saw a gathering of notable figures in the fashion, entertainment and music worlds coming together to pay their respects.
Coming together for Abloh’s family, some in attendance at the service included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Drake, A$AP Rocky, Rihanna, Tyler, the Creator, Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Vic Mensa, Kendall Jenner, Don C, Jerry Lorenzo and more. Understandably, the close friends and family of Virgil Abloh were emotional throughout the funeral for the American fashion designer and entrepreneur that served as Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton‘s menswear beginning in 2018 and Chief Executive Officer of Off-White™, a fashion house he founded in 2013.
Along with words from Abloh’s sister, Tyler, the Creator broke during his eulogy chronicling his friendship with the late creative and Lauryn Hill performed her classic “Everything Is Everything.”
