Adidas Originals Updates Its Running-Inspired Retropy E5 Silhouette
Building on the sneaker’s debut earlier this year.
Following the launch of its Retropy E5 silhouette earlier this year, adidas Originals revisits the running-inspired sneaker to drop a clean “Orbit Grey/Altered Blue” iteration.
Diving deep into its extensive brand catalog of performance sneakers dating back to the 1970s, Adidas Originals combines heritage looks with more modern features like its epochal BOOST cushioning, resulting in a sneaker that effortlessly finds the perfect balance.
Building on its multi-colored entrance back in June, adidas Originals douses the textile and suede upper in more subtle hues of “Orbit Grey” and “Altered Blue,” while splashes of vibrant orange grace the three stripes and heel.
Sat atop the brand’s archetypal BOOST midsole, the Retropy E5 is rounded out with classic lace closure, textile lining and a classic rubber outsole.
The adidas Originals Retropy E5 “Orbit Grey/Altered Blue” is available to buy now from the brand’s online webstore, retailing at £90 (approximately $120 USD).
In other footwear news, adidas has unveiled its NMD S1 in a grey and “Green Glow” colorway.
