Official Images of the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 "Baroque Brown"
La Flame slaps a new tongue logo and his signature reversed Swooshes onto the classic Nike model.
If Travis Scott‘s name is attached to a certain project, it will automatically capture people’s attention. In the sneaker space, he’s worked his way up to arguably becoming the most impactful collaborator, and he’s slated to bless his fans with more colorways before the year comes to a close. On deck for the talented artist is Nike collaboration that entails the classic Air Max 1, and his impending “Baroque Brown” makeup has just emerged via official images.
Several of Scott’s previously launched footwear team-ups have gone heavy on the earthy tones, and this offering is no different. An ecru-esque tone covers a majority of the upper’s real estate here as it cascades over the mesh base, medial side overlays and the textured Swoosh logos which are placed in reverse fashion on the lateral side and in its traditional shape on the medial. Its titular shade covers the interior lining as well as the overlays on the heels and around the toe box, while a caramel-like hue outfits the mid-foot overlay on the lateral wall. Nike and Cactus Jack branding make their presence felt across the inserts and on the heel flags.
An official launch date for these kicks is set for December 16, but you can likely expect an early release as Scott’s 2021 Astroworld Festival this week.
