Mowalola Announces London Pop-Up Store
Head to the store from November 26-28 to get your hands on some of the designer’s hottest pieces and other rarities.
Mowalola is one of London‘s buzziest (and busiest) emerging designers, but the Central Saint Martins graduate, Fashion East alumni, and creative director for Kanye West’s GAP has never hosted their own pop-up in the U.K. — until now.
The inaugural pop-up store takes over the Dray Walk Gallery in Shoreditch, East London, from November 26 to November 28 over the Black Friday weekend. Presenting pieces from Mowalola’s “Lola Land” merch drop and rare archival pieces alongside three colorways of the limited-edition “Monsta” boot and the brand’s signature “Bundle” bags, the pop-up serves as a way for London’s fashion crowd to get their hands on some of Mowalola’s greatest hits.
In addition to this, the pop-up will offer exclusive merchandise ranging from a “Jesus 4 Life” hoodie to “Free Mowa” T-shirts, “Tramp Stamp” transferrable tattoos and a complementing hoodie with the same tribal design, “M” logo rings, and a small table made in collaboration with Chapel.
Throughout the space, there will be more unique furniture items on display that set the scene for the brand’s first physical space.
As said, the pop-up will be hosted in Shoreditch, and is open daily from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. The only condition is, “No swag, no entry.”
In case you missed it, here are 2022’s International Woolmark Prize finalists.
