Disney and Sony Rumored To Develop Six New 'Spider-Man' Titles After 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'
Some of which will premiere on Disney+.
As Tom Holland’s contract comes to a close with Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel and Sony are supposedly looking to develop a slate of new titles for the franchise.
According to Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus, Disney and Sony are currently in talks for a Spider-Man streaming deal that follows the continuation of Peter Parker’s life “in an alternating format.” Marvel Studios is rumored to helm three live-action films and three seasons of a Disney+ series, “where each season will fill in the gap between each movie release.” The newly-announced Spider-Man: Freshman Year could be the first season as it will serve as an origin story.
