Following on from its recent link up with Fracap, London-based label maharishi has now released a capsule of technical-inspired garments. Forming part of the label’s Fall/Winter 2021 collection, this capsule encapsulates maharishi’s “respect nature, utilize technology” ethos, with technical fabrics used alongside references to the natural world.

A key example of this is the vegetable-dyed micro-ripston nylon produced by Japanese heritage mill Komatsu. The lightweight material is constructed using waste yarn, and offers the wearer both water-resistant and quick-drying properties. Elsewhere, maharishi FW21 technical items include pieces in Sherpa fleece constructed from post-consumer recycled materials, as well as an insulated quilting produced using a synthetic fill.

Take a look through maharishis’ FW21 technical editorial in the gallery above. All of the items are available now from the label’s web store.

In other fashion news, Body of Work recently launched its first collection of Made in Canada sportswear essentials.
