GmbH Taps Into Jack Wolfskin's Outdoors Heritage
Using the collaboration to challenge misconceptions about the outdoors.

After opening its archives to mark its 40th anniversary, German outdoors label Jack Wolfskin has continued the celebrations by working with GmbH. For this collection, GmbH founders Serhat Isik and Benjamin A. Huseby channelled their own experience of the outdoors and aimed to challenge “the misconception that BIPOC and immigrants do not enjoy the outdoors.”
The collection itself incorporates Jack Wolfskin technologies with GmbH aesthetics, with eye-catching patterns and quilting covering technical jackets, parkas and zip-off trousers. Other stand-out pieces in the collection sport a new wolf emblem, including T-shirts and knitwear. A number of pieces sport GmbH’s signature guild logo alongside the Jack Wolfskin paw.
The technical influence of the collection and its performance wear is best signified by the collaborative tent, which features both brand’s logos as well as an all-over print across its white base.
Take a look through GmbH’s collaboration with Jack Wolfskin in the gallery above, and expect the pieces to launch via the GmbH web store on November 15 and 3PM CET (9AM EST).
