Brain Dead Unveils Its Trippy and Cozy Winter 2021 Collection
From psychedelic mushroom-craving dogs to six-eyed kittens and more.

Los Angeles-based Brain Dead, which is spearheaded by the designer Kyle Ng, has unveiled its Winter 2021 lookbook ahead of its imminent release.
Shot by Will Goodan and staring Mia Kitora Howe as the model, the lookbook takes place in the city but is somehow intimate, or somewhat voyeuristic at times, as it follows Howe around convenience stores, into underground stations, and in other obscure areas of town.
However, these simplistic backdrops put the spotlight on the clothes — which, might we add, are some of Brain Dead’s finest. An intarsia knit jumper featuring a teddy bear cuddling another smaller teddy bear is a key standout, and not just because of its bold use of color, while a ruched multi-colored long sleeve is another equally impressive look.
Elsewhere, Brain Dead presents a retro fleece zip-up, a six-eyed kitten sweater vest, and a checkered denim look that’s comprised of a pair of jeans and a jacket, with the latter featuring a psychedelic mushroom-meets-skeleton-meets-dog graphic on the rear.
Brain Dead’s lookbook can be seen above, and will be available online or in stores such as Dover Street Market from November 30 at 10 a.m. PST.
In related news, Brain Dead recently dropped a duo of rugs shaped likes its T-shirts.
