Brain Dead's T-Shirts Look Just as Good When They're Actually Rugs
Taking “floordrobe” quite literally.
Brain Dead‘s signature T-shirts are a wardrobe staple, easy to pair with any outfit as they often sport a graphic that does all the talking. Now, however, it has immortalized its tees as a pair of rugs.
Dubbed the Rug 40 and available in either peach or green, these rugs feature a heavy pile finish and are tufted onto cream backgrounds, allowing the T-shirt shape to stand out. On the peach iteration, Brain Dead’s head logo appears in yellow with black branding, while the green switches things up for a blue head with black branding.
These rugs are yet just another one of Brain Dead’s oddities, adding to its line of exfoliating towels, stained glass clocks, vases and mugs, Modernica collab tables, and Nalgene bottles. Both rugs are available to purchase from Dover Street Market Ginza’s website now, costing ¥55,000 JPY (approximately $485 USD) apiece.
