Pyer Moss first started getting its feet wet in the world of footwear by consistently partnering up with Reebok, but in September 2020, it officially announced its first in-house sneaker design titled the Sculpt. Since its inception, the fashion forward silhouette has released in black and yellow, white and yellow and black and blue colorways, and now it’s adding a fresh black and red variation to its portfolio.
The heightened parts of this chunky model comes engineered with mesh underlays and suede overlays, both of which are dyed to a stark black tone. Notes of white provide some contrasting here through broken up, exposed stitchings that border the suede paneling and the shroud over the throat. Like the previously launched colorways, this version also comes locked down with a toggle lacing system. Down below, the chunky platform is drenched in a bold red hue to complete its classic “Bred” motif.
To accompany the launch, THANKYOUSNAPGOD created a short film titled “Sculpt Live” that shows pedestrians of NYC essentially giving their opinions about the shoes.
