Kanye West's adidas YZY BSKTBL KNIT "3D Slate Blue" is Revealed
Ye’s newest hoops model has sock-like PrimeKnit uppers.

After conducting a somewhat out-of-the-blue release of the YZY KNIT RNR in its “Sulphur” colorway, Kanye West and his camp at adidas are gearing up to further advance its footwear catalog with yet another silhouette: the YZY BSKTBL KNIT. As you can probably gather from its namesake, this forthcoming “3D Slate Blue” colorway is built to perform on the basketball court. It carries similar elements to the adidas YZY BSKTBL QNTM, but features an entirely new upper.
Instead of wavy quarter panels, the model is formatted with full PrimeKnit base layers that extend to a higher cut that’s reminiscent of the Nike Kobe 9 and Kobe 10s. The bootie and the shoe laces of these kicks are dyed to a solid black hue and come mated with toe boxes and side panels that are dialed to its nominal shade. On the latter, the design details slightly deviate throughout as the collars and mudguard areas go for the streak-y look while the mid-foot has smaller windows of black and the toe boxes are woven in tighter. Bottom pieces and heel counters are identical to the aforementioned adidas YZY BSKTBL QNTM, and they come packed with BOOST foam cushioning.
According to YEEZY MAFIA, the adidas YZY BSKTBL KNIT “3D Slate Blue” is dropping sometime in December 2021 for $260 USD.
