Lawrence Schlossman and James Harris are no strangers to fashion. Not only are they the voices of the popular menswear-focused podcast Throwing Fits, late last year the pair released a pair of loafers alongside Blackstock & Weber and more recently crafted a pleasing collection of five-inch inseam shorts.

This season things are moving upstairs as the Throwing Fits pair join forces with New Zealand-based label Checks Downtown for a multi-colored mohair cardigan, just in time for fall.

Checks Downtown — which describes itself as “sitting between street fashion, luxurious fabrication and tailored design” — is based in the heart of Auckland and is known for its playful and eclectic approach to menswear.

In partnership with Throwing Fits, the pair now introduce its “berries and cream”-inspired mohair and wool cardigan, which houses lower-front hand pockets and faux pearl buttons, and is dressed in a series of vertically-arranged autumnal stripes.

Available to pre-order until October 3 via the Checks Downtown webstore, the Throwing Fits x Checks Downtown cardigan retails at $209 USD.

In other news, OBEY and IAB-Studio’s FW21 collection is the inject of colour we needed.
