Wasted Paris Recruits Photographer Kevin Cummins For "After Show" Apparel Collaboration
Snapshots from Cummin’s photo book ‘Manchester: Looking for the Light Through the Pouring Rain’ are featured on the pieces.

Since the 1970’s, Kevin Cummins has worked his way into becoming a skilled historian by documenting the British music scene through his photography, and now he has been tapped by Wasted Paris for a collaborative clothing capsule entitled “After Show”. Shown on the graphic-focused pieces are imagery shot by Cummins that reference notable bands such as the The Smiths, The Stone Roses and Joy Division as they serve as major inspirations for the French fashion label.
What this assortment consists of is a range of four t-shirts — both short and long sleeve — as well as a duo of skateboards, each of which sport imagery from Cummin’s book Manchester: Looking for the Light Through the Pouring Rain. Colorways for the tees include black, white and sky blue, and feature various images from a Joy Division “Love Will Tear Us Apart” tattoo to a vandalized brick wall that spells out The Stones Roses moniker to a picture that alludes to The Smiths’ “Cemetery Gates” song. Additionally, you’ll find the skateboards treated with graphics of Cummin’s photoshoot of Joy Division on the Princess Parkway bridge in Manchester as well as a concert crowd.
Moreover, The Kevin Cummin signature-adorned labels on the tees are based off the the flyers and backstage passes of The Haçienda, a popular nightclub and concert venue in Manchester.
