WACKO MARIA and Jim Jarmusch Return for Yet Another Spooky Collab
An ode to the director’s horror film ‘Only Lovers Left Alive.’
WACKO MARIA has teamed up with film director Jim Jarmusch once again for another spooky collaboration. Following their previous project, referencing the movie The Dead Don’t Die, this capsule is a nod to the 2013 comedy-horror Only Lovers Left Alive.
Keeping the capsule concise, there’s only one graphic used throughout the entire range — a haunting portrait of Tilda Swinton as a vampire with closed eyes and an open mouth showing her fangs. Printed in red, the film’s title is emblazoned above the image, while the words “a film by Jim Jarmusch” is placed below. This design is across a Hawaiian shirt, a crewneck sweater and a T-shirt in a handful of bold colorways — black, white, purple, green and yellow. As a final touch, each piece features the same words seen on the front at the back.
Jim Jarmusch and WACKO MARIA’s capsule is currently available on WACKO MARIA’s website, ranging from ¥8,000 – ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $77 – $145 USD).
