Watch the Trailer for 'Silence of the Lambs' Sequel, 'Clarice'
“Well, Clarice — have the lambs stopped screaming?”
The trailer for the upcoming Silence of the Lambs sequel Clarice is finally here, almost exactly a year after the show was first announced.
The show will take place in 1993, a year after the events of the original psychological thriller, following FBI agent Clarice Starling who returns to the field to hunt down serial killers and sexual predators. Originally played by Jodie Foster, the role of Clarice will be taken by Rebecca Breeds.
Without giving away too much of the show’s plotline, the trailer suggests the series begins just when Clarice comes out of hiding — recuperating from the trauma of dealing with Hannibal Lecter. She continues with her investigative work with her compatriots as they unravel more cases that lead her to a handful of other criminals.
Watch the trailer for Clarice, set to premiere on CBS February 11, 10 p.m. EST.
In case you missed it, the movie house in the original Silence Of The Lambs has been up for sale.
