Swatch Brings Back Three Keith Haring-Designed Mickey Mouse Watches
A nod to the late artist’s collab from 1986.

Swatch is bringing back three vintage Keith Haring-designed watches from its archives — re-releases of a special collaboration for Haring’s New York Pop Shop back in 1986.
The capsule features three distinctive colorways of red, blue and black where each watch displays Haring’s irreverent spin on Mickey Mouse, a concept that frequently appeared in the artist’s work.
The red watch comes with a striped band and a semi-translucent case. A monochromatic illustration of Haring’s Mickey is placed at the center of the watch’s face, above the “Swatch” branding. Dubbed “Eclectic Mickey,” the blue watch features a similar depiction of Mickey on the face, except slightly more distorted — the image is made up of curved black and white lines that give off a psychedelic aesthetic. As finishing touches, the watch comes with bright yellow hands and a blue case that pops out from its black and white design.
The black colorway is the most minimal of the three. It boasts a sketch-like illustration of Mickey, showing just a cropped close-up of the character’s face. Besides this motif and the yellow hands, the rest of the watch comes in a sleek matte black design.
Swatch’s Keith Haring x Mickey Mouse capsule is currently available on Swatch’s website, ranging from $100 – $185 USD.
