Following a Reebok Club C collection, Eric Emanuel has now collaborated with adidas Originals on a release celebrating McDonald’s All-American Games.

Taking on the retro adidas Originals Forum ‘84 High, the designer reimagined the high-top silhouette to reflects the history and prestige of the Golden Arches’ all-star basketball game played each year by American and Canadian boys’ and girls’ high school basketball graduates.

The upper of the shoe features a mix of premium white leather and cream nubuck panels accented by overlays of yellow, blue and red. Aside from the bright red Three Stripes motifs at the midfoot, McDonald’s references are continued on the vintage McDonald’s All-American Games logos near the heel and on the tongue tags. Further branding includes printed insoles and Eric Emanuel’s maker’s mark on the lateral side. Finally, elevating the shoe is a cream-colored midsole paired with a contrasting bright yellow rubber outsole.

Priced at $140 USD, the Eric Emanuel x adidas Originals Forum ‘84 High “McDonald’s All-American” is expected to release in the coming weeks to mark this year’s games.
