Seiko Gives Its Prospex Turtle "Save the Ocean" a Dark Manta Ray Special Edition
Featuring manta rays on the dial.

Seiko is now offering a muted take on the Prospex Turtle “Save the Ocean” Manta Ray SRPE39K1 released earlier last year.
Much like its predecessor, the new watch comes equipped with a 45mm stainless steel case shaped uniquely to Seiko’s Turtle line, but this time upgraded with a black unidirectional ceramic bezel offering greater scratch resistance. The previously more vibrant dial is now replaced with a darkened shade of blue, emblazoned with similar silhouettes of manta rays swimming through the ocean, while the 4R36 movement has been retained to offer a day-date indicator at 3 o’clock and a power reserve of 41 hours. As for its strap, Seiko has opted for a deep blue rubber variant this time around, taking over the stainless steel bracelet of last year’s model.
For those interested, the new Seiko Prospex “Save the Ocean” Dark Manta Ray SRPF77K1 is now available for $595 USD. Learn more over on the company’s website.
