Logic Delivers Doctor Destruction's Debut Album 'Planetory Destruction'
Many listeners are convinced, however, that Doc D is actually the “retired” rapper’s alter ego.

Logic‘s first post-retirement move as a music executive has arrived in the form of the Planetory Destruction debut album from BobbyBoy Records signee Doctor Destruction.
The 17-track project features guest appearances from the likes of Ghostface Killah, Buddy, Punch of TDE and more, and hears a mixture of ’90s boom bap and lengthy skits. Calling the mysterious artist “full of imagination,” Logic tweeted, “I met this cat @docdmusic 3 years ago in Chicago. Now he claims to be from the year 2097 so he must have borrowed doc brown’s Delorean lol. However on that day he handed me a flash drive with music like many before him.”
He added, “But this was special, and so true to the roots of hip hop I had him keep sending more over the years. And once I’d heard enough I decided to sign him. Now I don’t know how he convinced me to executive produce his entire album but I’m glad I did.”
Many fans are convinced, however, that Doc D is actually Logic’s alter ego. The theory is definitely not far off as there are certain moments in the album that are comparable to the supposedly retired rapper’s cadence, not to mention Doc D’s line on “Cosmos (Skit 1)” that hears him confirm that he can “alter” his voice to emulate anyone else’s.
