Check Out the Notre x Nike Dunk High "Blue Void"
A second colorway of the Chicago retail outfit’s mechanic shop-inspired sneaker.

Chicago-based boutique Notre and Nike have two takes on the Dunk High set to drop in 2021, and after official images of a “Light Orewood Brown” style were revealed last week we now have an official look at the “Blue Void” colorway. First leaked in 2020 and recently revealed in full by Don C, the “Blue Void” provides a compelling collage of materials, tones and textures for what looks to be a highly-detailed homage to mechanic shop uniforms.
Two shades of blue are featured on the upper, with the eponymous “Blue Void” present on mudguards, eyestays, collar flaps and heel overlays while a light blue-gray hits the toeboxes, quarters, collars and throat. While each overlay is composed of shaggy suede, you’ll notice that the base is split in two: lateral quarters and toeboxes use a rich leather, while medial quarters take on a durable canvas and the heel is split 50/50.
Notre’s signature “handshake” branding — last seen on Notre’s Vans Old Skool LX set from this past October — is present on the lateral Swoosh, which offers an ultra-dark navy leather build. Medial Swooshes take on “Blue Void” suede, and the left shoe stitches a rectangular Notre name badge atop its standard Nike Sportswear tongue tag, a possible nod to the standard placement of name badges on mechanic uniforms.
Flecked laces, wooly gray insoles, dark navy canvas heel tabs and gray heel pieces round off the top half. Down below, the look is finalized by intentionally yellowed midsoles, a potential callout to the Dunk‘s decades-long lineage, and navy blue outsoles.
An official release date for the Notre x Nike Dunk High has yet to be announced, but it’ll likely arrive on Nike SNKRS and at the Notre webstore this spring. The MSRP is set at $120 USD.
