Evisen Skateboards and Independent Trucks have teamed up for a concise graphic-filled capsule. It’s the first time the two labels worked together, and the first time Independent Trucks, in its 33 years of existence, collaborated with a Japanese label for a genuine east-meets-west project.
The capsule includes a spread of light and cozy mid-layers, like hoodies, anoraks and graphic T-shirts. One noteworthy piece is a multi-paneled anorak set in black, white and olive. “Evisen” and “Independent Trucks” co-branding is placed on the upper right sleeve over the anorak’s white panel, while twin waist pockets and drawstrings at the hood complete the piece. Other highlights in the capsule include logo T-shirts, hoodies, zip-ups and special skateboard trucks, rounding off the vibrant capsule.
Evisen Skateboards and Independent Trucks’ new collab will be available on January 23 on Evisen Skateboards’ website, ranging from ¥4,000 – ¥27,000 JPY (approximately $36 – $260 USD).
