Steve Aoki‘s Dim Mak and Playboy have teamed up for a six-piece limited-edition capsule collection. The Playboy x Dim Mak drop coincides with Playboy’s exclusive feature story on Steve Aoki’s newest EP, 6OKI – Rave Royale, set to release on January 22.

The limited pieces combine both Playboy and Dim Mak’s iconic branding and include two short sleeve t-shirts, two long-sleeve t-shirts, and two hoodies. Similar to other Dim Mak collaborations, fans can expect bold graphics and stand out colors. In particular to the Playboy x Dim Mak capsule, the collection revisits the rainbow and white-out tie-dye colorways.

The overarching artwork featured on the Playboy x Dim Mak apparel commemorates both brands by overlaying Dim Mak’s signature motif with the famed Playboy Bunny and Masthead. The collection pays homage to Dim Mak Records’ founding year, with the number “96” featured in the graphics, while reflecting Steve Aoki’s iconic silhouette donning an Oni Menpo Samurai mask.

Steve Aoki describes the collaboration with Playboy as an “honor”, citing Playboy’s non-conforming principle of “freedom and self-expression”. The collection was shot at Steve Aoki’s Playhouse and captures the two-time Grammy-nominated artist wearing the capsule collection during the making of 6OKI – Rave Royale.

Fans can expect Aoki’s EP to pay tribute to his club and festival roots. Like the collection, the EP includes six hard-hitting collaborations, with artists such as Timmy Trumpet, k?d, Gammer, Brennan Heart, Ben Nicky, and Hasse de Moor. Those interested can take a listen to the EP below.

The Playboy x Dim Mak collaboration collection launches January 22 at 8 a.m. PST and is available exclusively on Playboy Labs.
