COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS Previews Nike Air Foamposite One Collaborations For FW21
Two monochromatic colorways carved out with zen garden-inspired uppers are on the way.

An expansive array of footwear collaborations are in the pipeline for the Nike family this year, and one of the latest to be unveiled is the impending Air Foamposite One capsule with COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS. The CdG diffusion label previewed the forthcoming sneaker iterations alongside a stunning clothing collection for its subdued Fall/Winter 2021 runway show held at its Tokyo headquarters.
Much like the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS x Nike Air Carnivore installments that were teased in 2020, this duo of kicks are presented with monochromatic black and white motifs and keep the much of its respective silhouette’s materials and overall shape the same. However, where this collaboration really separates itself from any other Foamposite partnership that we’ve seen in years past is through the upper molding which rids of the traditional vertical ribs and instead opts for an intricate, almost zen garden-esque carving throughout.
The forefoot’s tiny Swoosh branding lands in its customary position, the white pair going for the tonal aesthetic, while the black pair features angelic insignias. Additionally, COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS text hits grace the heels on both takes, each of which are printed out in the opposite neutral hue of its upper.
No release or price information has been revealed just yet, but expect them to release sometime during the latter half of 2021.
