London-based label Aries has presented its Spring/Summer 2021 collection, once again bringing together a diverse range of influences. For this collection, the brand has looked to acid house raves in the 1990s, ’00s heavy metal and Californian surf culture alongside classic Aries design motifs.
A key feature of the collection is the use of recycled space dye yarn, which is used on sweatshirts and sweater vests, complete with Aries’ “No Problemo” slogan and temple graphic. Alongside the brand’s jersey items, the SS21 collection also includes a range of stand-out denim items. Key pieces range from cut-off denim shorts to a matching jacket and trousers featuring hand-drawn motifs.
Graphic T-shirts in the collection’s first release include a large “Noodle” print as well as the “They Live” imagery. Elsewhere, Aries introduces cold weather gear through its patterned fleeces and reversible sheepskin gilet.
The first SS21 release from Aries is due to hit the brand’s web store and select stockists on January 21. Aries will also open a US web store on February 4.
