Ares Design Crafts a Two-Door Tesla Model S Convertible
Equipped with a special carbon fibre aero kit.

Shortly after unveiling a custom Land Rover Defender 110 SW and a Porsche 964 911 Turbo, Italian coachbuilding expert Ares Design has now debuted its one-of-a-kind Tesla Model S convertible.
The special build required a whole host of modifications, spanning across the body, chassis, aerodynamics and the interior. After cutting away the roof, the rear doors and B-pillars were all removed in order to fit the new, longer front doors, while a Centro Stile-designed rear bonnet integrates the retractable roof when stowed away.
With stock parts removed and new parts installed, the team at Ares also had to strengthen the car’s structural integrity, achieved through reinforcements by the side members and underneath the cockpit and rear seating. Finishing off the build is a new carbon fiber aero kit designed specifically for the project and a revamped interior with custom-made rear seats, all dressed in ice white leather paired with vibrant orange accents.
