Targeting the retailer’s 18 to 24-year-old customers.

All Foot Locker and Foot Locker-owned stores in the United States will be transformed into temporary voter registration hubs beginning September 22.
According to reports, over 2,000 Kids Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Champs Sports and Footaction locations will serve as provisional voter registration sites. Each store will have a kiosk where visitors can either check their voter status, register to vote or sign up for election reminders.
The retailer explained that the project, created in partnership with nonprofit organization Rock the Vote, aims to “educate and amplify the voices of today’s youth” and will target its 18 to 24-year-old customers. Sources claim that numerous states have seen an increase in youth voter registration including a 12 percent rise in Minnesota, 15 percent in California, 28 percent in Georgia, 26 percent in New Jersey, 23 percent in New Mexico and 32 percent in Vermont.
