Ten C and sacai Juxtapose Sportswear and Military Wear for FW20 Collection
Offering three distinct silhouettes.
Ten C and sacai have teamed up to deliver outerwear pieces for FW20.
Originally debuted during sacai’s Fall/Winter 2020 runway show in January, the Italian brand and the Chitose Abe-led label juxtapose sportswear and military wear in the unique hybridization technique of sacai. A total of seven pieces with three distinct styles are offered: a mods coat silhouette crafted with a fusion of sacai’s bal collar coat and Ten c’s PARKA, a blouson jacket with Ten C’s TEMPEST ANORAK interweaved on the side and, finally, a down jacket with the ANORAK as the inside layer and sacai’s military padded liner on the outside. The collection also utilizes Ten C’s signature Original Japanese Jersey, a wind resistant and water repellent fabric made of high-density knitted nylon and polyester fibers. OJJ’s distinct product dyeing process, which includes applying pressure at high temperatures, also gives it a denim-like ageing feature.
The Ten C x sacai FW20 collection drops globally on September 19 at sacai menswear retail locations like HBX.
Elsewhere in fashion, a one-of-a-kind tie-dye Supreme box logo sold for $52,000 USD.
