Patta and Yussef Dayes Join Forces for Collaborative Tracksuit and EP
Introducing ‘Blackfriars.’
After taking part in Browns’ Homecoming 2020 capsule, Amsterdam-based Patta has now revealed a new collaboration with Yussef Dayes. The drummer and producer has worked with the label on releasing a new video, titled Blackfriars, which gives a first look at a collaborative tracksuit.
The collaborative track jacket features a multi-colored patchwork aesthetic with panels of black, yellow, green and red, while the track pants are more stripped back with yellow and red stripes running down each side. The Panel Relaxed Tracksuit is sold alongside a single-sided 12-inch vinyl of the Blackfriars EP, which features five drum-only songs.
Although Yussef is the only musician who features on Blackfriars, the video — directed by Barka — also features his father and some of his closest friends. You can watch the video below, while the tracksuit will launch through the Patta web store on September 18.
