Patta has followed up its recent New Balance footwear collaboration with the latest instalment of its ongoing work with British sports brand Umbro. Utilising its appreciation for 90s designs, this forthcoming release sees Patta rework Inter Milan’s UEFA Cup winning 1993/94 away jersey.

Traditionally sticking to an all-white away strip, it was Umbro — a brand at the forefront of jersey designs in the 90s — who decided to implement the sash for the first time on an Inter Milan strip. Ensuring the original classic details like the heavy acrylic finish and the typically 90s cut remained, Patta has given the shirt a makeover by replacing the original sponsor with the Dutch brand’s logo.

The accompanying lookbook features a host of local heroes and Inter Milan fans, alongside former Interista and Italy midfielder Nicola Berti, who was a part of the triumphant 93/94 team.

The Patta x Umbro ’93-’94 Inter Away Jersey will be available in-store at Patta Amsterdam, London, Milan on September 25, 13:00 CEST, while early access on September 23 will be available via the Patta app.

In other news, Balenciaga has offered a closer look at its forthcoming soccer sneakers.

Patta is proud to announce the next chapter in our ongoing collaboration with Umbro. The legendary ’93-’94 Football Club Internazionale Milano jersey by Umbro is one of those items that transcend boundaries of taste. Ask a genuine kit connoisseur to name their favourite Inter jersey of all time and you can bet that the Umbro away shirt of the UEFA Cup winning season of ’93-’94 will be mentioned time and time again.⠀ ⠀ Traditionally, Inter wore a white away shirt, but it was the grand old Umbro brand – at the forefront of the most cutting edge jersey designs in the 90s – who took the bold and wonderful decision to utilise a classic sash design for the first time on an Inter shirt. For both historic and style reasons it was only right that this was the shirt we chose when we were invited to rework a classic design in collaboration with Umbro.⠀ ⠀ This collaboration sees Patta keep all the original classic details, like heavy shiny acrylic finish and the 90s cut which Umbro were known for, but the homage shirt is given a Patta overhaul, with our logo replacing that of the original sponsor.⠀ Seen sporting the Patta x Umbro ’93-’94 Inter Away Jersey here, is legendary Interista Nicola Berti. The Patta x Umbro ’93-’94 Inter Away Jersey will be available in-store at Patta Amsterdam, London, Milan on September 25th, 13:00 CEST. Early access on Wednesday September 23rd through the Patta app.⠀ ⠀ Link in bio. Photography: @anna_adamo Featuring: Nicola Berti
