Rising Milledgeville, Georgia rapper, singer and songwriter Jaida Chanel Roby, better known as Pap Chanel, delivered her Pretty & Paid project at the top of September and quickly gained momentum off the strength of her single “2 Way Street” featuring a guest verse from Blac Youngsta. Now she’s dropped off the music video presented by 1865 Black Flag.

“They’re showing mad love. I’m happy to be in that loop,” Pap Chanel told ESSENCE about the love fellow women rappers have showed her within the past year. “Because once I get to where I’m going, I’m going to show some love to upcoming female artists too. The males are dominating, so I’m so happy that the females are finally giving each other a chance.”

Pap Chanel strives in high-energy environments while showcasing her lyricism aided by motivation of coming from a small town with aspirations to grow beyond the hip-hop scene in Atlanta. Past offerings include her “Wonderful” single and “Money Callin”, each hard-hitting efforts that display some serious promise.
