John Geiger Teams with EA Sports and 'Madden NFL 21' For Special Electric Green 002
A physical follow-up to Geiger’s extensive digital capsule in the game’s “The Yard” mode.
John Geiger has teamed with EA Sports and Madden NFL 21 for a special iteration of his 002 sneaker. Dubbed “Electric Green,” the brightly-colored kicks follow up Geiger’s extensive digital capsule in the game’s “The Yard” mode, bringing the once-digital designs firmly into the physical space.
Dressed entirely in the nominative “Electric Green” hue, the shoe’s high-cut upper is made up entirely of synthetic material and features zig-zagging black seams that run around the collar and down to the toebox. Large heel and collar tabs assist with ease of entry and removal, while a toggle at the rear enables the wearer to cinch the collar for a tighter fit. Patterned white and black laces wind through both tabs, adding texture and further contrast. Down below, midsoles are done up in a slightly more muted yellow-green hue and Geiger’s name is debossed on the heel to finalize the look. The shoes also come packaged in a special co-branded box with yard markers and a grassy print.
The John Geiger x Madden 21 002 is set to release on the John Geiger webstore come October 2 and is priced at $350 USD. The first 50 orders will also receive a free copy of Madden NFL 21 for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
