Continuing its influence on the culinary world, Bronx collective Ghetto Gastro has teamed up with CRUX on a line of kitchenware for modern home cooks.

Exclusive to Williams Sonoma, the CRUXGG collaboration looks to continue GG’s push to empower communities and advance social justice by igniting conversations around race, class and inclusion. The range of simple-to-use kitchen appliances with bold design details is built on the ethos established by Ghetto Gastro members Jon Gray, Lester Walker and Pierre Serrão.

Leading the special range is the TRNR Double Rotation Waffle Maker done with a striking bright red heating plate and introducing the matte black finish of the kitchenware lineup. Ahead of the September 29 official launch, the prior to the waffle maker will be available for pre-order. Other items tabletop items include the KING 3.5HP Blender Capacitive Touch, DRIP 14 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker and SATA 2 Slice Toaster. More heavy-duty appliances come in the form of the NEFI 6 Slice Digital Toaster Oven with Air Frying, MUSA 6.5 Qt. Air Pro Cook & Fry and BRED 2LB Bread Maker.

Aside from partnerships with ReThink Food and C-CAP, all proceeds from the CRUXGG collaboration will be donated to ACLU’s Know Your Rights Camp, which helps advocate efforts to end police brutality, demand racial justice, and defend the rights to protest—through October 2020.

Head over to Williams Sonoma and the CRUXGG landing site to access the exclusive pre-sale and learn more about the collaboration.
