In a year that marks the 70th anniversary of the Clarks Originals Desert Boot, Italian fashion boutique Antonia has linked up with the British footwear label for a customized paisley iteration for Fall/Winter 2020.

Combining the DNA of the original Desert Boot alongside Antonia’s eye for bold design, this collaborative release stems from the patterns found on the traditional bandana patchwork. By extracting single elements of this popular pattern, each shoe amplifies the design to create a strong, contemporary image.

Crafted using chrome-free suede – which offers stain and water resistance – this latest Desert Boot arrives in a maple colorway and features a bespoke OrthoLite footbed made from recycled materials. Completing the shoe is an additional layer of crepe on the outsole for an elevated aesthetic and a brand new last, specifically engineered for this release.

Set to be launched on September 30, this Clarks Originals x Antonia Desert Boot will be available from the latter’s online webstore, retailing at €180 (approximately $210 USD).

In other news, Dr. Martens’ latest collaboration celebrates 50 years of Black Sabbath and the legendary band’s first two albums from 1970.
