ASICS’ GEL-Lyte III OG Given Bold Makeover

ASICS has revisited its GEL-Lyte III OG silhouette and injected it with a new variation of colors comprising white, orange and purple.
After dropping two fluorescent iterations last month, the Japanese sneaker brand opts for a more tonal approach this time around, all while retaining the archetypal GEL-Lyte design. The classic “ASICS” branding is found on the rear while the rubber side strips and a mesh complete the uppers.
An orange split neoprene tongue catches the eye underneath the tonal laces, which loop through a set of sleek leather eyelet panels. All of this is sat on a tonal midsole, underscored by a thin black outsole and orange dashes.
ASICS’ GEL-Lyte III OG White/Orange launches on October 6 and will be available from the Asphaltgold webstore.
In other sneaker news, BEAMS and adidas Originals have readied an elevated Stan Smith collaboration.
