New York-based label Adsum has paid tribute to its home city through a Fall/Winter 2020 collection inspired by the 1968 movie The Odd Couple. A particular reference point is the film’s setting in an apartment along Riverside Drive, giving the brand the opportunity to pay homage to New York City.
Celebrating the city as the season’s change, Adsum has delivered a collection fit for the brisk Fall days and colder winters. This includes a selection of down-filled pieces such as the Hyperlight Down Vest and Jacket, as well as the heavier Alpine Jacket. Elsewhere, the brand have used an Italian weatherproof shell fabric constructed from a nylon blend for other lightweight outerwear while Adsum has introduced intarsia knit Nordic sweaters from chunky virgin wool.
FW20 also sees Adsum return to its signature overshirts, with flannel workshirts dressed in either red or green. Elsewhere, the label has reworked its Premium Buttonndown shirt into a heavyweight stone washed denim, while zip-front rugby shirts are given new striped patterns.
