North Carolina-based multidisciplinary studio TBD in Process, known for its work with neon-colored acrylic, has lent its hand to the Nike Air Force 1.

The collective has attached multicolored thermoformed acrylic panels all around the classic AF1, brightening up the sneaker with neon hues while not distracting from the shoe’s construction. Panels overlay the signature Swoosh logo on both sides — one appearing in green and another in pink — as well as the heel tab which is split between orange and blue. A further touch of yellow reworks the lace lock.

TBD in Process locks the panels in place with small black screws, which give the AF1s a utilitarian feel. The custom AF1s are expected to go live on August 15 on TBD in Progress’ website — there’s no word on pricing as of yet, but expect it to be in-line with previous pairs that retailed for $285 USD.

In other news, Nike has dropped its Pegasus Trail 2 in “Volt/Black.”
