After previewing the futuristic collaboration earlier this year, Danish label Soulland has now given a closer look at its upcoming release with LI-NING. Presented in full at the brand’s recent Copenhagen Fashion Week show, the “Pre-Inter-Post” capsule features the Wind Ranger silhouette and the all new Shadow sneaker.
The stand-out feature of the Shadow silhouette is its split-level, hollowed sole unit. For the Soulland collaboration, the sneaker has been dressed in a white and grey upper constructed from a high-tech “cool shell” fabric. Other fetures include metallic insets partially transparent sections and pops of bright orange, olive and purple. The colorful details are inspired by the Soulland team’s runs through Copenhagen.
The Wind Ranger features an equally understated design, with a nearly transparent upper giving glimpses of the colors underneath. The same color palette of orange, olive and purple can be seen on the insoles and the rubber tread, as well as through the semi-transparent upper layer. The silhouette features a range of LI-NING’s best running innovtions, including a super lightweight design and extra cushioned midsole.
Both sneakers from the Soulland x LI-NING “Pre-Inter-Post” collection are due to release in Fall 2020, marking the first time that the Shadow silhouette has ever been available outside of China. Keep an eye out for more release details closer to the time.
