Off-White™ Shows That Mismatching Your Sneakers and Derbys Can Be Done
A daring look that will cost you $605 USD.
Off-White™‘s latest release might be its most bizarre yet, dropping a pair of black and white mismatched shoes comprising a sneaker and a derby as one pair.
Indeed, the Virgil Abloh-helmed label is positioning this as a pair of sneakers despite their contrasting appearance. The sneaker appears in white, while the derby appears in black, one features a tag, the other feature as a red heel tab. Contrasts are everywhere, yet similarities are served too.
Both sit on the same sole unit, which means walking in different shoes shouldn’t be too much of a challenge. The sole unit is made from icy blue rubber and is detailed at the rear with Off-White™ branding. Elsewhere, the pairs share components such as the cursive branding text printed on the tongues, and both feature yellow lining. Lastly, both pairs feature a leather arrow patch on the mid-panel in their respective colors.
Similarities, unfortunately, or fortunately depending on your taste, end there. Wearing these together is a bold choice, but one that is sure to liven up any outfit or conversation. For those interested, pick up the Off-White™ Black and White Half-Half sneakers from SSENSE now, where they retail for $605 USD.
