Ninja and adidas Reunite for Superstar Collaboration
The streaming maven puts his signature spin on one of the Trefoil’s most famous silhouettes
Streaming king Ninja and adidas Originals have reunited for a new Superstar collaboration. Following up December 2019’s Nite Jogger “Time In” and a duo of yet-to-release takes on the ZX Torsion, Ninja and adidas‘s latest effort is decidedly more subtle than past projects. However, it’s certainly not lacking for Ninja’s signature flair.
White leather uppers are rimmed with sporty blue trim on the Three Stripe graphic and eyestays. What looks to be a blue nubuck liner covers the inner half of the tongue. Signature gold foil “Superstar” hits have been altered to read “Ninja” on the lateral side of each sneaker. Special lace deubres offer the streamer’s “Time In” motif on the right foot plus his signature logo on the right foot.
Although the lateral side is largely left unadorned, the medial side supplies ever-so-faintly printed digital patterns that reach from under the collar to the forefoot. Heels bring the top half together with a blue overlay, and opaque, icy blue outsoles round off the look.
The Ninja x adidas Superstar is set to release via adidas UK on August 8. Its MSRP is set at £100 GBP (approximately $131 USD).
