645AR has long since showcased that his vocals aren’t a gimmick. What’s resulted is the artist quickly become one of the most polarizing figures in music in 2020. You either love his work or actively hate the high-pitched filter that he presents in each of his new releases. FKA twigs is the latest major artists to give him a co-sign, collaborating with the enigmatic singer-songwriter for “Sum Bout You” alongside another music video that taps into the remote romantic qualities of OnlyFans and webcam connections during the current coronavirus pandemic.

FKA shows off her dance skills while 645 dedicates a three-screen setup to her performance. “I’m bringing real R&B back. Shout out to FKA twigs,” 645AR said of their surprise collaboration. The new music video follows his recent BRTHR-directed video for the reality-bending “Yoga” visual that was shot just before the coronavirus pandemic hit New York City. The Men in Black-inspired offering was an acid-trip experience featuring animated aliens and more. For “Sum Bout You,” the director Aidan Zamiri’s visual approach stands in stark contrast for a much more straightforward approach.

645AR first burst onto the scene with January’s “4 DA TRAP”. It became a viral sensation based on his vocals alone. But the consistency in which the singer released head-turning sonics continued with “In Love With A Stripper” and the Brodinski collaboration “Fast”.

Regardless of what you think of 645AR, it would appear that he isn’t going anywhere. Watch the new music video above and stream the track below. In more music updates, DaBaby returned earlier today with his Blame It on Baby (Deluxe) album, presenting 10 new tracks with features from Young Thug and Gunna.
