New Balance Champions Sustainable Fashion With "Undyed" 327 Sneaker
Created using a low water and energy production process.
Following a collaborative design with Casablanca, New Balance has now introduced a sustainable iteration of its 327 silhouette, once more highlighting the importance of a sustainable future.
The New Balance 327 sneaker is a fresh interpretation of the ’70s revival trend, emphasizing a shift to the simpler, cleaner heritage models with a modern twist. As suggested by its name, the 327 “Undyed” arrives without any pigmentation or coloration, saving water, energy and waste in the production process.
The silhouette comes in a stripped back colorway – celebrating natural materials in their un-dyed state – and is dressed in a natural light grey and ivory shade with suede overlays placed throughout the upper. An oversized “N” logo completes the lateral, while NB’s signature branding is embossed on the tongue and a rubber sole finishes off the design.
These retro-style kicks add to New Balance’s lineup of eco-friendly options – including the Vision Racer shoe and the brand’s collaborative collection with fashion-label Reformation – and represent New Balance’s ongoing dedication to sustainable and environmentally-sound fashion.
