Headie One Links With AJ Tracey and Stormzy for "Ain't It Different"
The lead single from Headie One’s upcoming debut album, ‘Edna.’
Headie One has enlisted AJ Tracey and previous collaborator Stormzy for the collaborative new cut, “Ain’t It Different.”
Billed as the lead single of Headie One’s upcoming debut studio album Edna, “Ain’t It Different” features production from Toddla T and FRED, and samples “Bump & Grind” by M-Dubs featuring Lady Saw and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers offering “Pretty Little Ditty.” The three rappers make comparisons to life before the start of their careers and reflect on how difficult it was back then, but also celebrate how far they’ve come despite the adversities.
“Ain’t It Different” marks Headie One’s latest collaboration with FRED following April’s GANG, and also hears him and Stormzy reunite after “Audacity.”
