Alexander McQueen Outlines Its Oversized Sneaker

Alexander McQueen‘s iconic Oversized Sneaker has appeared in many bold iterations, and now the British label takes the pair one step further with an all-over marker pen re-design.
The marker pen craze became popular back in 2018, when artists and the general public started customizing their sneakers and much more with black paint or sharpies, adding black outlines to objects. Today, Alexander McQueen reignites this trend with its latest Oversized Sneaker offering, which sees its premium white leather uppers get covered in black outlines, detailing the classic shapes found throughout its design.
Black lines detail everything from the holes on the mid-panel to the laces and the sole unit, giving the pair a cartoon-like aesthetic. In contrast to the DIY finish, the label has added its moniker to the tongue and heel tab in a silver tone, highlighting the sophisticated serif font it uses.
