Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes graced the NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series with two cuts from their collaborative project, What Kinda Music.

On their first song “Nightrider,” which originally features Freddie Gibbs, the pair were joined by Jordan Rakei on vocals and John Mayer for the closing guitar solo. Meanwhile, their second and final track “Tidal Wave” included Rocco Palladino on bass and Joel Culpepper on backing vocals, offering a fusion of live electronica, psychedelia and avant-garde jazz.
