London-based SWEETLIMEJUICE has delivered an assembly of finely cut jewelry from its Fall/Winter 2020 collection, a follow-up to its SS20 “Split” lookbook from back in February. Dubbed “SPUTNIK,” the collection is inspired by the world’s first satellite SPUTNIK-1, a historic milestone of technological advancement. Reflecting companionship, “SPUTNIK” loosely translates to “fellow traveler;” a journey into the unknown is imminent. Pushing its creative boundaries, SWEETLIMEJUICE has introduced gold plating to its latest lineup alongside a colorful assortment of vivid crystals encrusted over new pendant styles.
The collection includes rings, necklaces, bracelets and ear cuffs that have been meticulously handcrafted. Besides the ear cuffs, each accessory boasts crystal embellishments wrapped with distressed denim, emphasizing textural contrast between the metal and the jewel. The Silver Split Crucifix necklace, with its half-split cross, and the Gold Denim Oval necklace are but a few noteworthy pieces in the range — sleek cable-style links are combined with glistening crystal pendants. Similarly, the Silver Oval Crucifix bracelet also comes with a crucifix motif, except fully intact this time. It features a thicker cable link and a lobster clasp that hooks onto a plate engraved with “SWEETLIMEJUICE” branding. Other pieces like the intricately detailed Denim Planet Oval Signet rings finish off the opulent assemblage.
SWEETLIMEJUICE’s first Fall/Winter 2020 delivery is currently available on SSENSE’s website, ranging from $195 – $535 USD.
