Our latest edition to our Closer Look series takes us to HUBLOT pink Big Bang with Garage Italia. The 42mm case is made with a satin-finished and polished “Millennial Pink” anodized aluminum and is one of the more fun and colorful watches in its price range.
With an extensive background in material technology — it was HUBLOT after all that introduced the rubber strap to the world of luxury watches in the ’80s — HUBLOT furthers its foray into crafting watches that speak more of the individual. From the closer look, we can see the brushed and polished flanks of the case and the contrast between the titanium H screws at the bezel and gray tones offered via the skeletonize dial.
Powering the watch is HUBLOT’s newer HUB1280 UNICO manufacture chronograph caliber movement. The new architecture allows for a double coupling system; making the movement 1.3mm slimmer than its first version while retaining 72 hours of power reserve. This watch is priced at $20,900 USD and limited to just 200 pieces. Take a look at the watch above to see it in all its close-up beauty.
In other watch news, Seiko’s SNR045J1 is the Hulk-Sub alternative you’ve been looking for.
