NASA and Anicorn Celebrate Mars Mission With Special Edition Watch
Alongside a release of sports accessories, a bag, puzzle and more.
Watch company Anicorn is celebrating NASA‘s mission to Mars which took off today. Involved in the journey is the Perseverance Rover which will be traversing the planet’s Jezero crater in search of signs of life, examining climate and collecting geological data. For the occasion, Anicorn is releasing its MARS MISSION timepiece, only limited to only 200 units. There are other items involved in the celebration as well including cuffs, messenger bag, tees, a scent, basketball, football, a puzzle set, skate decks and golf set.
For the watch, each piece is marked with an edition of 200 stamp at the case back. The movement is of a Miyota 9015 automatic with 24 jewels and housed in a 316L stainless steel case. The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters and boasts a stainless steel bracelet with butterfly clasp. There’s also another fabric strap as an alternate option and it’s embroidered with the NASA logo. The timepiece is packaged in an aluminum case and includes a numbered metal plate certificate.
Other notable items in the collection include the Mars scent — a scented potpourri in collaboration with Moon Laboratory. It’s an imaginary aroma of Mars that comes with an exclusive brass capsule. There’s also a skatedeck in partnership with Kurv skateboards. Called the Mars Edge, the deck is crafted from 7-PLY grade Canadian maple wood emblazoned with the NASA logo. The Mars Puzzle, a super fine image from NASA and USGS, is a challenging work to complete but also fun with its AR component. Anicorn calls it the “first and only AR puzzle you can touch, interact and share on social media in the world.”
Pre-orders for the watch is available now on Anircorn’s official site. The other items on the collection are now available as well with shipping to begin in September.
